Toastmasters DCP Song by Michael Jackson Impersonator

Our own Kevin Thompson, Area Governor, Inaugural Fall Conference Chair for District 83 and top 3 Humorous Speech winner for 2 consecutive years competing against 254 clubs in NY and NJ lends his talent for a fall workshop on both sides of the Hudson River. Kevin’s Toastmasters Workshop entitled, “The Jackson’s ABC’s of Club Development” was preformed for District 46 on November 7th and District 83 on November 14th. He selected 4 Michael Jackson Songs and wrote parities that emphasized how Toastmasters can be successful in developing their clubs. Above Kevin preforms a song which emphasizes the Distinguished Club Program. Kevin also sang about being a club officer, conducting an effective meeting, and welcoming guest to meetings.

Kevin enjoys using humor to reinforce a message and make his educational trainings memorable long after the event is over. Take a look and leave your comments about this video. You can learn more about the topics Kevin speaks on at his web site: http://inspiredcommunicationsllc.com/ and reach Kevin via e mail Kevin@InspiredCommunicationsLLC.com. Table Topics In Toastmasters

Table Topics in toastmasters is a powerful tool that is utilized when learning how to speak fast on your feet. I used to sit in management meetings admirering those administrators  who seemed to never miss a beat. I would think to myself, wow;  how do they do it? God I wish that I could be that “on“. I  would  pray that I would not be called on to speak,or to give input but I would never be that lucky. Sometimes I would open my mouth and either one or two things would happen; I would stutter or be speechless, not a word would  come out. After joining Toastmasters I learned that thinking fast on your feet was a “SKILL” and a skill can be learned!! !!
